The Favorite Poem Project, conceived of by Robert Pinsky, former US Poet Laureate, is a gathering of individuals to share their favorite poems with each other, revealing personal ties to specific poems. The Loom’s Favorite Poem Event is a time to come together to hear poems presented by members of the Harrisville community and neighbors

Ellen Doré Watson previous director of the Poetry Center at Smith College and named one of “24 Poets for the 21st Century” by the Library Journal has written five books of poetry and many translations from Portuguese.
